Falling within his jurisdiction are the strange disappearances of prominent martial artists. Known as Supercop, he's feared internationally by even the most powerful of crime organizations. Though 19 years have passed, nobody believes he is 45. After the last tournament, Lei returned to his job as an investigator of international crime. Lei's investigation and intuition led him to believe the accident was staged, and he doubts that Bruce is really dead. It was rumored that Kazuya's corps were involved as a means of silencing Bruce. Bruce's flight home was then reported crashed, killing all passengers aboard. Bruce Irvin almost pushed Lei to the brink of defeat in Tekken 2, but Lei managed to come away victorious.
Lei vowed to track down the center of Kazuya's operations. but he lost his memories from an airplane crash and started working for Kazuya.
A number of killings lead to the investigation of Kazuya Mishima, who was linked with several Triad and Mafia transactions across the globe. Story Prologue During his time as one of the most respected Hong Kong police detectives, officer Lei Wulong has developed his own style of Kung Fu, and uses this to his advantage when facing the many criminals he encounters within his home metropolis. His title in the original trilogy is Super Police. He was also suspicious of Heihachi's intentions when he was invited to the third tournament. The few characters that share Lei's belief are Zafina, Julia and Lars. He's also has a strong intuition as unlike most characters that individually target either Jin or Kazuya in Tekken 6, he is a rare example that attempts to arrest and take down both at the same time. He is also extremely well known in the game's story of the as Heihachi was actually the one that invited him into the third tournament while Feng has heard a high amount of praise regarding Lei's technique. Although his attempts can sometimes be clumsy, Lei's intentions are always virtuous in nature. He is fair-minded and affable to those around him (unless they break the law.) In his Tekken 5 interludes, he is shown treating his friends such as Wang Jinrei and Steve Fox with compassion and respect. A man who lives for his job, dedicated to the point of obsession, Lei is a law abiding and gifted cop. It is revealed in his win quote against Bryan in Street Fighter X Tekken along with Bryan's interlude with him that he's no longer close with Bryan and rather is enraged at him because of his cybernetic enhancements and his "use" of it. Though he is a skilled fighter on his own, Lei has shown to be an accurate shooter with small arms as shown in his Tekken 2 and 4 endings and Bryan's Tekken Tag ending. This has earned him his nickname "Super Cop" due to his ability to catch criminals. Although comedic, Lei is very dedicated to what operations are at hand. He is one of the comedy relief of the Tekken cast and is constantly cracking jokes. Lei is very laid back with a casual attitude. Lei Wulong (雷武龍 Léi Wǔlóng) was introduced in Tekken 2, and he has returned for all subsequent games.
